The Mt. Diablo Mother's Club is a social and support group for expectant families and families with infants and young children. We openly welcome parents of all situations: working, at home, single and adoptive. We exist to form and strengthen friendships for you and your family.
The Mt Diablo Mothers Club is based out of Walnut Creek and serves Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Concord and Clayton. Moms from all areas are welcome with the understanding that club events will occur in the club's geographic area.
MDMC offers lots of ways to get involved, and we encourage our members to join in, make new friends and have a great time! Motherhood is one of the most rewarding experiences of your life, and we want to be here to share it with you.

Taking on a volunteer position is a great way to have fun, meet other moms and keep MDMC offering the services you value. Without volunteers to fill a position, that particular service will be missing from the club. The term for each position is from May 1st to October 31st and many can be shared with a friend. If you have questions or need more detailed information, please contact one of the co-directors or the Volunteer Coordinator.
Volunteer Positions
We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities, from Board Positions, Coordinator Positions, Newsletter Contributors and Special Projects. The instant effects of volunteering are you meet more fellow members and Moms and immediately feel like you are part of the club! It will also give you the opportunity to share your expertise or learn a new skill, maybe tap into an ability you never knew you had. Enjoy the company of other capable Moms while you help create the wonderful opportunities provided by our club.
Transferring skills learned and practiced in volunteer positions and motherhood can eventually be used in a paying job or career. Our club's volunteer motto is: "If You're Not Having Fun, Call Someone!" Come join in the fun! We list our all our open volunteer positions in our OPEN POSITION newsletter column each month. |

Our club publishes a 22-page monthly newsletter, which includes information on all our club activities, stories on special events, subclub information, community events, a Mom to Mom column, crafts, recipe corner, and much much more.
Our newsletter is available at every General Meeting for you or a member of your playgroup to pick up. If your newsletter is not picked up at the General Meeting we mail it out the following day.
